The PhD scholarships in Accounting and Finance at University of Edinburgh Business School, UK is funded by for European Union students and International Students.


Applicant should be postgraduate master’s degree from an accredited institution in the UK or overseas with evidence of above-average academic achievement (more than 65% overall in your Masters) and a postgraduate master’s dissertation with distinction (UK equivalent). Your official transcript and grading scheme must be provided when you submit your application.

Applicant also should have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of at least 7.0 overall, or the equivalent from our approved list of certificates.


The deadline of the application is May 31 2019


You must submit your online application for the PhD programme by the scholarship closing date. Please note you will not be able to access the scholarship application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.

The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd, our web-based information portal. We recommend you follow the scholarship application guidance.


The scholarship is fully funded, Tuition fee, maintenance fee of £14,500 per year.

  1. can i submit language proficiency letter of my university in place of IELTS certificate ? Because the test is not easily accessible for me. at lease i have to wait for more than 3 months to get the chance of taking the exam.
