Tailored Opportunities: Postdoctoral Research Position in Swansea University, UK


University of Swansea University from UK invites applicants for Postdoctoral research position. It is a research-led University that was established in 1920. The position is fixed for one year with possible extension of one additional year. The position will be based at Swansea University’s Singleton Campus.


Applicant should be PhD in Physics or closely related field, with strong background in quantum information and quantum error correction, topological quantum computation, quantum many-body systems, statistical physics, quantum optics, machine learning and AMO physics. Applicant should have active engagement in research design, peer-reviewed publications, dissemination of research results such as conference and seminar.


Application deadline is May 16 2019

Scale 8 point 31 – £34,189 per annum together with USS pension benefits.
