Tailored Opportunities: PhD fellowship for Women Scientists from Science and Technology in Developing Countries


The main purpose of this fellowship is to produce new generation, young and talented women graduates in science and technology in developing countries and enhance their participation in scientific and technology development of their countries. The applicant can choose between fulltime and Sandwich PhD fellowship. This fellowship is funded through the support provided by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).


The fellowship is offered to women scientists from developing countries, Ethiopia included, who obtained their masters in Science and Technology subjects (this includes Agricultural Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, Mathematics etc. please visit the link at the bottom of this page for more information)


The deadline for the application is May 30, 2019


All documents should be uploaded through the online application system


A monthly allowance to cover basic living expenses such as accommodation and meals while in the host country and a special allowance to cover international conference during the fellowship.
